Triple Play at the American Hotel
I was waiting for my husband at The American Hotel, while waiting three women walk in, butt ahead of me, look at me, shrug their shoulders and say: "She's a dyke." and roll their eyes. It would not matter if I was or not, but I had just finished chemo treatment for breast cancer and had no hair.

wow, I think this is the most upsetting post. :(
ReplyDeleteThis is why despite owning a home in Wainscott in hearing distance of the waves, with access to Georgia Assoc. Beach, and after going there since 1959 I never go there unless I HAVE to to visit family or visit graves. The whole place is a freaking nightmare. Rude hardly covers it. I live upstate, no not Dutchess County or New Paltz or Woodstock. Up in the Northern Catskills, Central NY area. People just don't act these ways. Then sometimes people from down there find this place. They love it. They want to move here--then they want to change it to be just like Wainscott . God Save us from these fools. Please keep them down there. Hey you all down there, you will hate it here . Don't come here.
